What Members Have Said About Union Savings

I decided to look into buying a home about two years ago. At first I was unsure which realtor would be my best choice to use, this was my first time buying a home.

I am a member of the Union Savings Program through the UFCW 401 Union in Alberta. I had looked at the Union Savings website and had decided to go through them for my cell phone package and had great success!

I then decided to try the services offered through the Real Estate Member Savings program. I emailed Steven (DiGiovanni, Program Coordinator) and he quickly replied with the name of a realtor in my city. I ended up putting my home purchase on hold for over a year, but when I was ready, I contacted the realtor and began house hunting.

My realtor was a huge help, her knowledge was vast and much appreciated. Because of my choice to use the Union Savings Program, I received a rebate of $500.00!!! To me, this is a great program, and where else could I have gotten any kind of rebate for buying a home?? The system works whether a person is buying or selling a home. I would highly recommend any Union Savings affiliated member to look into this type of program! There are many advantages to this program, and should I ever decide to sell and rebuy, I would definitely use it again!!

Even after the lapse in time from my first initial contact, he still came through for me!!! This is a level of service I find to be top notch, congratulations to Steven and all the people who help make this program possible.

My rebate is going to buy me a new barbeque for my brand new deck!! Thanks Steven for everything!!!!

As a Union Member with Local 720 Ironworkers in Alberta I took advantage of this great opportunity with the Real Estate Member Savings Program. We were very pleased and satisfied with the program and the quality of Realtor we were referred to. With the benefit, our family had received 10 per cent of our realtor's commission in gift cards, therefore, two months of grocery shopping had cost us nothing.
