A. No. Under current Canadian law, your benefits are tax-free.
Q. When does my coverage terminate?
A. The Plan terminates on the earliest of:
- the first of the month following the month in which a written cancellation notice is received by ACE INA Life Insurance;
- 30 days from the date a premium is due and unpaid; or
- on your 70th birthday.
Q. What are the 'Activities of Daily Living'?
A. 'Activities of Daily Living' are defined as:
- Eating;
- Getting out of bed;
- Dressing;
- Toileting; and
- Walking
